I was surprised to learn that medium hair is the ideal length, because you can make it look shorter or longer. To make your hair look shorter, take small sections, and carefully twist them towards the back of your head. Pin the ends where you would normally have a ponytail, and tease the ends of the twists out away from your head to create cute flicks.
